Pansy Wong, MP and accountant

Prominent accountants in New Zealand include Pansy Wong, the first Asian member of the New Zealand Parliament. Ms Wong was born in China and gained her accountancy qualifications at Canterbury University. She speaks English, Cantonese, Mandarin and Shanghaiese, and was appointed to several ministerial positions in the 2008 National government.
