Hone Tuwhare

Hone Tuwhare

Hone Tuwhare holds the 1975 album Wind song and rain, which features him reading 42 of his poems, including the well-known anti-nuclear poem ‘Rain’. In 2005, when this picture was taken, singer Charlotte Yates put together Tuwhare, a collection of Tuwhare’s poetry set to music by well-known New Zealand musicians.
