George Yerex

This photograph of the popular George Franklyn Yerex shows him explaining points of topography by candlelight at a Tararua Ranges camp during the Second World War, when he was chief army instructor of forest and jungle warfare. The photograph was taken by John Dobrée Pascoe in his role as official war photographer.
