Lake Benmore

Lake Benmore is the largest of three dams on the Waitaki River. There are also other kinds of control structures higher up in the river catchment – on the outlets of lakes Ōhau, Pūkaki and Tekapo – making it one of the most modified river and lake systems in New Zealand.
