Story: Petrels
Most of the New Zealand population of fulmar prions is on the Bounty Islands, where the birds nest in crevices and under rock falls. Unusually for petrels, they are active around the breeding colony during daylight, and if bothered by skuas or gulls, dozens of prions will flock together and mob them.
