Little blue penguin

Little blue penguin

The little blue penguin is the smallest in the world, barely tipping the scales at 1 kilogram. By contrast, the largest male emperor penguins can be a waddling 38 kilograms or more. This little blue is on Kapiti Island, where some climb to nests as high as 550 metres above sea level.
