White clovers

White clovers

Breeding and selection of white clover (Trifolium repens) has produced different types for varying farming requirements. On the left is a large-leafed cultivar for dairy farms and rotationally grazed pastures. On the right is a small-leafed cultivar for hill country and intensive sheep grazing. In the centre is a medium-leaf cultivar for multipurpose use and a range of growth conditions.
