Rāwene wharf

Rāwene developed as a timber town in the early 1800s, and a mill and shipyards were established there. It contains many relics of 19th-century development, including buildings and the wharf. These Māori and Pākehā inhabitants are apparently watching the arrival of a vessel, in the early 1900s.
