Saddlebacks, by John Gerrard Keulemans
Tīeke (saddlebacks) were a delicacy which Kahungunu caught for his wife, Ruareretai, when she was pregnant. When their daughter was born, she was named Ruahereheretīeke (saddlebacks taken in a bunch from their nest).
