Bishop of Aotearoa with Māori butchers

The Bishop of Aotearoa (the Right Reverend Manu Bennett) stands with a group of Māori butchers in the export boning room of the Gear Meat Company, Petone, in 1970. The freezing-works industry is one of the areas where Māori became concentrated when moving into urban areas.
