Story: Ngā haumi a iwi – Māori investment
Sir Graham Latimer stands outside the High Court in Wellington on 1 April 1987. Sir Graham headed the New Zealand Māori Council at the time that it took the government to court over the State Owned Enterprise Act 1986. The success of the Māori Council had a significant impact on how the government dealt with Māori in Treaty settlements.
