Big-game fishing, Urupukapuka Island

The Bay of Islands gained a reputation as a holiday centre in the 1920s when the American writer Zane Grey visited. Based at Urupukapuka Island, he went on regular deep-sea fishing trips. This marlin is being winched onto the wharf at his camp.
