Ngāti Tama and Ngāti Mutunga pā
This 1840 drawing shows two pā built by Ngāti Tama and Ngāti Mutunga during a contest to gain control of land at Waitangi on Rēkohu (Chatham Island). Ngāti Mutunga, whose larger pā is on the left, eventually won.
