Story: Manawatū and Horowhenua places
This 7.5-hectare wetland has been developed since 2002 by Gordon and Ann Pilone in the Pohangina valley, not far from Palmerston North. Ponds attract waterfowl, and there is a variety of native grasses, bushes and trees.
