King Billy mural
This mural in the Protestant Shankill Road area of Belfast commemorates the Protestant King William of Orange, who defeated the Catholic James II at the Boyne on 12 July 1690. Protestants in Ulster still parade on the anniversary of that day, and their loyalist organisation, the Orange Order, was named after William.
