Story: Cook Islanders

Cook Islands populations by place of residence, 2010s

This graph shows where most Cook Islanders lived in the early 2010s: far more were living in New Zealand and Australia than in the Cook Islands. The figures for Australia and Cook Islands groups are for 2011; those for New Zealand are dated 2013 (because the Canterbury earthquakes delayed the census until that year). The Cook Islands population totals include minorities of other ethnicities.
