Story: Hops, tobacco and hemp
Two hop pickers hold a sack while another gets ready to tip a bucket measure (known as a bushel) into it. Another man writes down the quantity. Behind are sack-lined bins containing hop flower cones. Pickers were paid by the number of bushels they produced in a day.
