Story: Historic earthquakes
In 2003, 35 years after the Īnangahua earthquake, a house was built at Whitecliffs, close to the rock avalanche that destroyed the Jacksons’ house. The large limestone boulders on the hillside are clear evidence that this is a hazardous site.
