Canned splendour

Canned splendour

Wattie’s is an iconic Hawke’s Bay company. Founded in Hastings in 1934, the food-processer went on to become one of the region’s most successful and enduring businesses. Wattie’s has manufactured a diverse range of products but is best known for its canned fruit and vegetables, and a staple New Zealand condiment – tomato sauce.
