Story: Hauraki tribes
The Hauraki region is dominated by the Marutūahu confederation of tribes. However, Hauraki is also the home of a number of other tribes, including Ngāti Hako, Ngāti Hei, Ngāi Tai, Ngāti Porou, Ngāti Pūkenga, Ngāti Rahiri and Te Patukirikiri.
