A traditional greeting (1st of 2)

A traditional greeting

When Rajiv Gandhi, the Prime Minister of India, visited New Zealand in 1986, children of the Fijian Indian community were waiting to greet him with traditional Indian ceremonies at Auckland International Airport. Here Trisha Singh anoints him, while Shona Singh holds a golden plate with burning camphor.
