Yorkshire Society of Auckland illuminated address

Yorkshire Society of Auckland illuminated address

During the 19th century there had been some migration from parts of Yorkshire to New Zealand, although on a population basis the county was under-represented. On the occasion of the visit of the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall and York in 1901, the Yorkshire Society of Auckland presented this illuminated address to the distinguished visitors.
