Men’s clothing audit

Men’s clothing audit

Glenn Carpenter poses in New Zealand men’s clothing from 1970 and 2005 to prove that that it was very difficult to find locally made clothes in the early 2000s. The 1970s clothes, bought from a second-hand shop for the exercise, were all made in New Zealand. The 2005 garments were all made in China and Fiji. The pictures accompanied a New Zealand Herald story about how many products bought by New Zealanders were made overseas.
