Single women immigrants, 1961
The large English migration of the 1950s and 1960s consisted mostly of single people. Angela Lovell from Essex (left), Tessa Singer from London (centre) and Pamela Dyson from Yorkshire (right), were unmarried when they arrived on the Orion in 1961.
