Fisher & Paykel Healthcare chief executive, 2003

Increasingly New Zealand is exporting manufactured goods. The New Zealand-based international company Fisher and Paykel first established a name for exporting washing machines, fridges and dishwashers, but more recently it has become a leader in high-tech medical equipment such as respiratory humidifiers and neo-natal warming units.
