Eastwoodhill arboretum

The arboretum at Eastwoodhill, just over 34 kms west of Gisborne on Wharekopae Road, is the product of planting by Douglas Cook between 1910 and 1965. It presents a spectacular display in autumn, when the leaves on deciduous trees change colour. In this segment from Palmers garden show, May 1993, presenter Maggie Barry introduces the arboretum.
