By 1896 Adriana and Arthur Swarbrick had five children and were enjoying a comfortable life, as Arthur had given up farming and become a lawyer. Adriana sits in the front row, with Louis and August at left and Hans at right. In the back row stand Florence, Arthur and Arthur junior.
