Advertisements for cannabis cigarettes

From the mid-19th century right through until the 1930s New Zealand sufferers of asthma and bronchitis were offered a range of herbal cigarettes which contained cannabis. The advertisement on the left appeared in the New Zealand Herald in 1882, and the one on the right in the Evening Post in 1904.
