Story: Diseases of sheep, cattle and deer
Pneumonia in sheep, particularly lambs, is more likely to occur in warmer weather rather than in winter, as might be expected. This may be because the panting caused by heat stress makes lambs susceptible to the disease. Death may quickly follow.
