Early west Auckland wine labels (1st of 6)

Founded in 1937 by the Fredatovich family, Lincoln initially built its name on fortified wines, especially sherry. New Zealanders were predominantly beer drinkers in the 1960s and labels spelling out ‘grape wine’, with images of grapes, were necessary to explain what wine was, and what it was made from.
