New Zealand residents born in Austria and Yugoslavia, 1881–2001
Before 1921, Dalmatians who came to New Zealand were classified as Austrians in the immigration statistics. Later, they were included in the statistics for people arriving from the former Yugoslavia. These figures therefore provide a rough indication of Dalmatian-born people in New Zealand.
