Story: Conifer–broadleaf forests
Bellbirds pollinate plants and disperse seed in conifer–broadleaf forests. The insect-pollinated flowers of five-finger (Pseudopanax arboreus) provide a supply of insects for bellbirds to feed on. Bellbirds also eat the ripe black fruits and disperse the seed.
