Story: Climate change
In the mid-1980s, when this cartoon was drawn, the scientific community was still split as to whether climate change was even occurring, let alone the role that human actions had in any such change. While for some, extreme weather was clear evidence of global change, for others it was business as usual, especially in windy Wellington.
