Ruakuri Cave
This spiral ramp was part of the development in 2004 of Ruakuri Cave, at Waitomo. The ramp leads down to the deepest parts of the cave system. Ruakuri was first opened to tourists in 1904, but had been closed to public access from 1986 to 2004.
