Korowai–Torlesse Tussockland Park

Korowai–Torlesse Tussockland Park

Situated near Porters Pass, the Korowai–Torlesse Tussockland Park was the first of its kind in New Zealand. It covers around 21,000 hectares of high country. Snow tussock dominates, but there are also some unusual plants that have adapted to the unstable screes and rock ridges.
