Antipodes Island pipit (3rd of 3)

Antipodes Island pipit

The Antipodes Island subspecies is seen here on the island’s dominant vegetation – tussock. These birds are so unaccustomed to people that they hop about between a visitor’s feet, looking for dislodged invertebrates.
