Story: Biosecurity
Dave Kershaw from the Ministry of Forestry inspects an Asian gypsy moth trap in 1993. If accidentally introduced, the moth could threaten New Zealand’s forestry industry. Such traps are used as part of ongoing monitoring. They are set up near airports and ports and checked to see if they have trapped any specimens.
