Story: Bay of Plenty places
The magnificent gateway to Tōrere School was carved by Wī Kuki Kīngi, to celebrate the 120th anniversary of the school in 1998. The central figure on the carving represents Wiremu Kīngi, chair of the school’s board of trustees.
