Story: Auckland region
Since the liberalisation of immigration laws in the mid-1980s, Auckland has attracted the country’s highest proportion of Asian immigrants and students of English. Many live in city apartments or hostels. These restaurants in Queen Street cater for them, and others seeking Asian food.
