Vellenoweth Green is set against a backdrop of high-rise apartments in the seaside suburb of St Heliers. In recent decades rising land prices have encouraged people to extend their houses, or build much larger homes and apartment blocks. In summer, crowds flock to the beaches at St Heliers and Mission Bay.
