Clean-burning wood burner
This wood burner is one of many new designs that meet the low emissions standards required by many of New Zealand’s local authorities in the 2000s. The row of vents above the glass door increases airflow to a sealed combustion chamber, maximising the oxygen supply so that almost complete combustion occurs. This translates into more efficient heating, with fewer soot particles and less carbon dioxide entering the atmosphere.
