Story: Acclimatisation
English artist Harry Bullock-Webster (1855–1942) arrived in New Zealand in 1881. His book, From the Hudson's Bay Company to New Zealand, is illustrated by sketches, many of them of a hunting theme. For colonials, hunting and fishing were major sources of recreation and they sought out these opportunities wherever they were in the British Empire.
