Hunters and pheasants, 1912 (4th of 4)

Hunters and pheasants, 1912

Hunters holding double-barrelled shotguns pose in a Taranaki timber yard with their dogs and haul of pheasants. The man on the right sports a vest with small pockets for storing shotgun cartridges. Pheasants were first introduced in the early 1840s, well before acclimatisation societies were set up.
