Coach to Burkes Pass

The painter John Preston depicts a coach pulling up to Burkes Pass Hotel in the 1880s. This was the period when Georgina and John Burgess held the hotel’s licence. Georgina reportedly cooked up to 30 meals a day for passing travellers.
